Sara Wight is an award-winning photographer who holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Kutztown University and an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. For more than a decade, her fine art photography has been exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and is held in many private collections. Sara has also taught photography at the university level and worked as an Art Director with some of the top photographers in the world. She brings to her work a unique background having the training of a master craftsman coupled with years of experience and in the editorial market. 

In 2009, Sara was awarded a residency at the Vermont Studio Center, a residency program hosting 50 visual artists and writers from around the world. In 2011, Sara's work was included in the Rizzoli publication, "New York: A Photographer's City," by Marla Hamburg Kennedy.

In 2010, Sara founded a boutique photography studio specializing in fine art portrait and event photography for discerning clients, which has quickly grown to a top studio in New York City. She was named one of the Best Wedding Photographers in New York City by MODweddings.

Sara's background brings to her work a technical expertise that is elevated by her artistic approach and her appreciation for all that is possible within the medium of photography.
